To enhance the guidance offered to women's social organizations, and to strengthen the building of the relevant work mechanism, the Human Resources Development Department of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and the ACWF Social Liaison, Exchanges and Cooperation Center (Women's Foreign Languages Publications of China) held a training course, which focused on the development of service centers and hub platforms for women's social organizations, in Suzhou, in East China's Jiangsu Province, in April.
Experts from the Social Organization Management Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Peking University, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Jiangsu Women's Social Organization Development Center gave lectures.
Participants were mainly provincial-level women's federations' cadres, responsible for women's social-organization work, and representatives of women's social organization service centers and platforms. They said they benefited a lot from the training course.
They vowed to strengthen construction and development of service centers and hub platforms for women's social organizations. They also said they would promote the healthy development of such organizations, and added they would greet the 13th National Women's Congress with solid work.
