SANTO DOMINGO, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) — Huang Xiaowei, secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and first member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation, led a delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on a visit to the Dominican Republic from Sunday to Tuesday.
During the visit, Huang met the vice president of the Chamber of Deputies, the minister of women, and key leaders from the Modern Revolutionary Party, the People's Force party, and the United Left Movement, exchanging views on deepening cooperation in the fields of inter-party affairs and women.
At a seminar held at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Huang introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee to more than 150 attendees, and also reached out to local communities and people.
Participants highly valued the significance of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation between political parties and on women affairs, and promote the stable development of bilateral relations.
