Huang Leads CPC Delegation to Finland

Huang Xiaowei, Member of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Vice-President of the All-China Women's Federation, led a CPC delegation during a visit to Finland between March 16-18, 2025.

Huang met Laura Rissanen, State Secretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of Finland, Rainer Hiltunen, Ombudsman for Equality of Finland, Johannes Koskinen, Chairman of the Finnish Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, Saara-Sofia Sirén, Chairperson of the Finnish Parliament's Employment and Equality Committee, and Ville Skinnari, Chair of the Finland-China Friendship Group of the Finnish Parliament.

Huang outlined Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the guiding principles of this year's annual sessions of China's top legislature and political advisory body, by combining a review of China's solid progress in advancing Chinese modernization and of China's great achievements in the cause of women's development and ecological conservation.

Both sides said they are ready to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen cooperation among women and within various sectors, and advance China-Finland relations.
