BEIJING, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the 15th BRICS Summit held in Johannesburg, South Africa and paid a state visit to South Africa from Monday to Thursday. Xi's trip enhances the traditional friendship between China and Africa, builds new consensus on South-South cooperation, and adds positive energy to peace and development.
