ASTANA, July 1 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping exemplifies true leadership, guiding his nation towards prosperity, says Gulnar Shaimergenova, director of Kazakhstan's China Studies Center.

Ahead of this week's Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Astana, Shaimergenova, who helped translate President Xi's book "The Governance of China," shares with Xinhua's Miao Xiaojuan her insights on China's rise and the charisma of its top leader.
