Chinese President Appoints New Ambassadors

BEIJING, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed the following ambassadors in accordance with a decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, an official statement said on Thursday.

Deng Li has been appointed ambassador to France and Monaco, replacing Lu Shaye.

Xiao Junzheng has been appointed ambassador to Israel, replacing Cai Run.

Zhang Wei has been appointed ambassador to Benin, replacing Peng Jingtao.

Dai Bing has been appointed ambassador to the Republic of Korea, replacing Xing Haiming.

Jiang Xuebin has been appointed ambassador to Türkiye, replacing Liu Shaobin.

Lyu Jian has been appointed ambassador to Oman, replacing Li Lingbing.

Dong Guangli has been appointed ambassador to Algeria, replacing Li Jian.

Tang Zhongdong has been appointed ambassador to Mauritania, replacing Li Baijun.

Guo Haiyan has been appointed ambassador to Kenya, replacing Zhou Pingjian.

Han Chunlin has been appointed ambassador to Kazakhstan, replacing Zhang Xiao.

Liu Jiangping has been appointed ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, replacing Du Dewen.

Li Fan has been appointed ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing Ji Ping.
