With the Spring Festival approaching, activities — aimed at better serving women and children — have been carried out in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In 2024, the regional women's federation outlined 25 measures aimed at providing better, more effective, assistance to in-need women, to help prevent and mediate marriage and family disputes, and to ensure work aimed at safeguarding women's and children's rights and interests is implemented on a regular basis, and at the grassroots level.
The measures included providing volunteer services to the elderly and children, strengthening law-publicity efforts, making home visits to identify and solve family disputes, and providing assistance to in-need people.
Relevant departments in the region have worked to protect women's and children's rights and interests, to promote family harmony and social stability, and to help make the region more peaceful, under the rule of law.
