The ceremony to launch a Caring Mothers 2025 Spring Festival assistance activity was held, in early January, in Zhuhai, a city in South China's Guangdong Province. 

During the ceremony, Yang Hongmei, President of Zhuhai Women's Federation, noted the caring mothers paired-up assistance campaign was unveiled, in Zhuhai, in June 2024. Since then, 14 caring mothers service teams have been established in the city.

Some 2,194 women have participated in the campaign, and, combined, they helped 1,763 in-need and/or left-behind children. 

The campaign received society-wide support, and it raised around two million yuan (US $281,690) for the children. 

The 2025 Spring Festival assistance activity was held to deliver care and support from all segments of society to the 1,763 children. 

The federation will continue conducting the assistance campaign, to help in-need children. 

In addition, it will provide training to volunteers, to improve their services, strengthen publicity efforts (to promote volunteers' exemplary deeds), and to inspire more people to participate.
