To implement the Women's Action for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Women's Action for Scientific and Technological Innovation launched by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), and reinforce the exchanges and cooperation between women entrepreneurs and sci-tech workers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), Guangdong Women's Federation has produced a series of vlog videos titled "Her Flourish in Greater Bay Area: Exchange Activities for Women's Innovation and Entrepreneurship" in collaboration with Southcn.com. These videos have captured many exciting moments behind the exchange activities and have shown the positive image of women in the development of the GBA.
Nearly 100 experts from various industries, women entrepreneurs and women sci-tech workers got together in Jianghai District of Jiangmen City, South China's Guangdong Province, on September 25, to share their insight and views about women's participation in scientific and technological innovation.
The exchange event featuring women's contributions to the cultivation of new quality productive forces through scientific and technological innovation was held by Jiangmen Women's Federation (JWF) under the guidance of Guangdong Women's Federation (GWF).
During her speech at the event, Lin Yanbing, Vice-President of the JWF, said that during the past few years, the JWF has thoroughly promoted the implementation of the Women's Action for Scientific and Technological Innovation and the Women's Action for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, supported and guided more women talents to play important roles in science and technology and the high-quality development.
She hoped women entrepreneurs and sci-tech workers to devote themselves to the formation of new industries, new development patterns and new growth momentum, ascend the peak of science and technology, and make contributions to the high-quality development of the GBA and the realization of Chinese modernization.
The event also witnessed the establishment of Jiangmen Service Alliance for Women's Participation in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Lin presented certificates to alliance members and called on them to make full use of their strength and resources in providing women entrepreneurs with multiple services.
During the roundtable discussion, Peng Baoli, deputy general-manager of Jiangmen TusStar Incubation Co. Ltd, held talks with women entrepreneurs and women sci-tech workers from Jiangmen, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Macao about their business career, success experience and insight.
Moreover, attendees also visited the production and research base of Amos Food Corporation Group in Jiangmen and learned about its R&D philosophy and corporate culture.
"The talks over new quality productive forces at the roundtable have left a deep impression on me. I am touched by the strength of these women role models," said a participant. She believed women will make greater contributions to scientific and technological innovation as well as social and economic development.
Since last June, the exchange event has been held in several cities of Guangdong and it has been well received by local business women. The latest gathering will further stimulate the enthusiasm and confidence of women in the participation of scientific and technological innovation, strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between different cities in the GBA, and elevate the integrated development of women in the GBA into a new height.
