Jing'an Women's Federation (JWF) in East China's Shanghai Municipality on October 25, 2024, held an activity on promoting women's employment and entrepreneurship.

Attending officials presented certificates of cooperation partners to representatives of six enterprises. The enterprises offered vacant jobs, which included baristas, medical escorts and community-level health managers, and signed intent letters with trainees from public welfare classes.

In March 2024, the JWF launched a program to empower women by holding public welfare training classes on digital sales and domestic services, and more than 150 trainees have received certificates and attended vocational competitions.

The JWF has consistently improved the environment for women's employment and entrepreneurship, taken a collection of supportive measures for their employment and entrepreneurship, sought the cooperation with local human resources and social security departments and human resources services firms over the implementation of the women's empowerment plan across the entire district, and built a comprehensive services platform that features online training, offline guidance, professional tests, employment channels and entrepreneurship guidance.

During the activity, a roundtable discussion brought together local officials as well as experts in relevant fields, who held in-depth talks about how to further promote women's employment and entrepreneurship and help them chase personal dream.
