A Spring Bud Dream Chorus under the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) presented the song I'm Waiting for You in Heilongjiang during the performance held along the torch relay route of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, capital of Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, on February 3, 2025. It became one of three major highlights during the performance.

The chorus consisted of 42 Spring Bud girls from Wangzhao New Village Primary School in Harbin. They gave their performance with robots developed by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in hands and also interacted with torch bearers. With passion and singing, the girls showed warmth and hospitality of people in Harbin, displayed to Asia and the world the enthusiasm of Chinese children and teenagers to take part in the ice and snow culture and their high spirits, and created beautiful moments for the torch relay.

In early January, the Spring Bud girls received an invitation from the Organizing Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games. Then, the girls rehearsed for four weeks.

They performed the song Ice and Snow Warm the World at the flame lighting ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games on January 20. This time, they sang for the torch relay, lighting up the winter with their melodious voices.

The Spring Bud girls have expanded their horizons, acquired more knowledge and increased self-confidence through participation in such activities. Their parents and teachers have witnessed the transformation of the girls. They are no longer shy but more confident, friendly and determined.

The Spring Bud Dream Chorus is a new carrier for the Spring Bud Project to seek self-upgrading and promote girls' all-round development and is also one of concrete measures to further implement the Spring Bud Project — Dream of Future Action. In the years ahead, the CCTF will further implement the Spring Bud Project — Dream of Future Action to help more girls receive better education, achieve dreams and embrace a bright future.
