The China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) successfully passed a pair of periodic assessments namely "basic scanning plus advanced observation" and earned another full score of the Foundation Transparency Index (FTI), according to the 2024 FTI results.
The FTI results were formally unveiled on March 22 and they are an important indicator of transparency for the public welfare sector.
During the past years, more attention has been paid to the information disclosure and credibility of foundations, and domestic foundations have further strengthened their self-discipline awareness and abilities.
The China Foundation Center (CFC) has made necessary adjustments in the evaluation of foundation performance and transparency so as to respond to the building of sunshine public welfare projects, meet the high-quality development of the foundation industry, and further enhance the entire sector's transparency and regulatory development.
The new round of the FTI's revisions has adhered to the principle of "abiding by the law and advocating excellent development" and divided the entire observation stage into two separate periods for the first time.
On the journey ahead, the CCTF will continually bear in mind its original mission of educating people for the Party and nation, adhere to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, send care and warmth to more children in difficulty, and help them grow up healthily and embrace a bright future.
