Yan Hongfang and her husband Fei Yunfeng have been holding fast to their posts at a medical center in a town of Deqing County, Huzhou City, in East China's Zhejiang Province, ever since the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) broke out.
The couple has been offering medical services at grassroots level for about 20 years.
In addition to publicizing information about personal protection amid the virus outbreak, they also monitor the temperature of the residents who are quarantined at five sites designated for medical observation.
The couple has taken the medical center as their home so they can focus on the anti-virus fight.
They also pay attention to people's mental health and enquire about their life necessities.
Fei said it is their obligations to join the battle against the virus since he and his wife have benefited a lot from the policies of the Party and the government, adding that they will fight to the last minute to win victory in the anti-epidemic fight no matter how tough it is.
