Women's Federations Across Country Mobilize Women to Resume Production Appropriately for Local Epidemic Situations

Women's federations across the country have mobilized women to participate in the fight against the epidemic and resume normal routines and production in an orderly manner in both agriculture and industry.

Women in Guangxi, SW China, Involved in Agricultural Production

Women's federations at all levels across the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region have actively mobilized local women to participate in the work of epidemic prevention and start spring ploughing.

In Lingshan County, technicians instructed female farmers to plant vegetables, fruits, tea and rice. 

In Sandu Town of Liujiang District in Liuzhou City, local vegetable growers are engaged in planting, picking and delivering vegetables to ensure the stable production of agricultural products. 

In the orange planting base, Xingbin District of Laibin City, women are busy picking the oranges.

In Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County, women are picking, sorting and packaging oranges in 44 fruit gardens.

Women's federations at all level in Sichuan Province are mobilizing women to participate in the work of epidemic prevention and spring ploughing. 

In Tuya Town of Pingchang County in Bazhong City, Chen Aihua, president of the town's women's federation, led women farmers to plant corn. 

In the women's poverty-alleviation base of Luzhou City, women are skillfully working in a tea garden picking teas. 

The Women's Federation of Guangyuan City has organized local demonstration bases, enterprises and women organizations to resume work and production. 

Hainan, S China, Calls on Women to Participate in Production

On February 14, the Women's Federation of Hainan Province called on women to engage in the work of epidemic prevention and production as well as contribute to the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.

Jiangsu, E China, Launches Online Platform to Help Women Return to Work, Production

In order to provide professional entrepreneurship information to women who want to start businesses by themselves, the Women's Federation of Jiangsu Province launched an online service platform through Women plus Cloud and Xinhuanet, assisting women to return to work and production. 

The platform includes five sections of policies, skills, instructors, projects and alliances. It will initiate an activity of collecting short videos on startups throughout the province, aiming at promoting the entrepreneurship information to more cities, communities and villages, to help more women who are engaged in starting a business.
