CWU Party Committee Launches Red '1+1' Base Program with Gaoliying Township Party Committee

The Party committees of the China Women's University (CWU) and the Gaoliying Township in Shunyi District in Beijing held a meeting at the township government to officially launch the Red "1+1" Base Joint Construction Program on June 30.

About 100 representatives, including the secretaries of Member of the Party committee Branches of the university and the township, attended the meeting. Standing Committee of the Party committee and Vice-President of the university Wang Jingxia also attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the event, Li Xiaoming, director of the Organization Department of the Party committee of CWU, and Zhou Guozhong, director of the Organization Department of the Party committee of the township, respectively introduced the preparations for the joint construction base and the next steps in the work's deployment. The Party committee of CWU awarded a bronze medal on the joint construction base to the Party committee of the Gaoliying Township, and the secretaries of the both sides signed an agreement and delivered promises.

Wang expressed her congratulations on the launch of the scheme, and expressed her thanks for the efforts that both sides had made. She pointed out that the launch of the "1+1" joint construction base means that the university has discovered and realized a new mode of joint construction, based on requirements that the Beijing Municipal Education Committee put forward to the Party branch on "point-to-point" joint construction. She hoped that both sides would cherish the platform, the opportunity and the friendship, and get involved in the "1+1" joint construction base with huge passion and mental acuity, to further innovate in their work methods, enrich details and focus on actual effects; to contribute efforts and wisdom to the development and construction of Gaoliying Township. In this way she hoped the sounds and influence of the Party will be stronger in the new socialist, great countryside construction.

Cai Xuezhi, secretary of the Party committee of Gaoliying Township, put forward his ardent wishes and detailed requirements for the launch of the joint construction base in his speech.
