Chairperson Li Mingshun Visits 2015 Military Training Students
Chairperson of CWU Council Li Mingshun and Director of the Student Affairs Office Zhang Ruizhi visited the military training students and their drillmasters at the Lizhi National Defense Education Training School, in Changping District, Beijing, on September 22.
Political commissar of the training group,GuoChunhong, made a review of the exercises.Guo said that the 2015 military training course has opened up a new mode of working based on the local conditions of the military base.At the same time, it brings university culture into military training, successfully completing the first lesson for these freshmen.
Gong Fengqi, president of the Lizhi National Defense Education Training School expressed his appreciation to the faculty and students for their cooperation and support in the whole process. CWU students' strong awareness of teamwork, good working style and efficiency in communication left a great impression on him, Gong said.
Li Mingshun highly praised the work and achievements of the faculty and students in the military training. He pointed out the military training is the foundation for the freshmen to start their university life. It is also a milestone of growth for their future lives. This time, new teaching instructors in the training provided more opportunities to get closer to the students, and also helped to establish student-centered consciousness. Li emphasized at the end of the conference that the faculty and students should strengthen their awareness of national defense, teamwork, contribution and cooperation, and encourage them to complete their tasks.
After the meeting, Li visited the dining room, training grounds and dormitory. He hoped everyone carries forward the spirit to bear hardships and stand hard work, which will be beneficial for their future development.
