CWU Holds Symposium for Retirees

Trade Union of China Women's University (CWU) held a symposium for retirees on January 21. Li Mingshun, Chairperson of the CWU Council; the executive vice-president of the CWU Trade Union; the director of the Office for the Affairs of the Retired Workers; and, all the 2015 retirees, participated in the event presided over by the executive vice-president of the Trade Union.

During the gathering, retirees shared their own feelings and experiences, reviewed their decades in the university, and planned their lives during their retirement. They also declared that they are willing to continue to service the university, and contribute to the university's development.

On behalf of  CWU leaders, Li expressed his sincere thanks for the senior educators, and said that the university cannot develop without the efforts of teachers. The senior educators dedicated their youth and intelligence to the university. Their conscientiousness and selfless contribution are valuable spiritual treasures in promoting development and innovation. Li also hoped that the retirees could continuously care about and support the university's construction, and offer advice and suggestions for CWU.
