CWU Law School Wins Prize in Beijing 'Youth Captain' Activity
On December 17, the Law Education in Beijing and Beijing Justice Bureau co-sponsored a 2015 promotion meeting for the Youth Captain activity. The organizers issued certificates for advanced units and individuals during the second National Constitution Day. China Women's University (CWU) received first prize among 20 other universities in Beijing.
14 students from the CWU Law School each earned the title of Outstanding Young Captain. Xing Hongmei and Li Qianqian, a teacher and student from the Law School were awarded as one of the Top 10 Presenters and Outstanding Counselors respectively.
The Youth Captain activity was organized for law students from different universities to popularize the subject. CWU Law School was responsible for carrying forward the constitution spirit, and teaching primary school students how to prevent children from sexual abuse and campus violence.
In the recent two years, CWU Law School participated in more than 20 activities at primary and secondary schools, and in different communities. The commendation conference affirmed the efforts of the CWU Law School, and encouraged the staff to work harder and make a greater contribution.
