CWU Attends China Forum on Innovation, Development of Logistics Industry and Education
Beijing hosted the China Forum on Innovation and Development of Logistics Industry and Education, with the theme of "Innovation, Technology, Logistics", on December 26, 2015. As a council member of Beijing Modern Vocational Education Group, China Women's University (CWU) was invited to participate.
CWU Vice-President Song Shengju, accompanied by the director of the Enrollment and Employment Office, party branch secretary of the Management School, dean of the North Campus, director of the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Center, and relevant teachers from Teaching Affairs Office, participated in the event.
Based on the logistics industry and educational innovation, the forum aimed to make further exploration on developments from perspective of policies and regulations, technology practice, and industrial applications.
The forum was co-sponsored by cfnet, Logis Development Company, Shanghai Communication and Logistics Education Group, and seven other units. Chen Yu, deputy director of China Association for Employment Promotion, made the opening speech; scientists from the Ministry of Transport, the founder of cfnet, and Jingdong's financial director made keynote speeches respectively.
After listening to the speeches, Song asked participants to incorporate their knowledge into their daily management and vocational guidance work, and respond to the policy of "encouraging people to start their own businesses and to make innovations".
