Red Sail Choir Joins Concert for National Ear Care Day
A benefit concert for National Ear Care Day was held at the National Center for the Performing Arts on March 2. The organizers invited the Red Sail Choir of China Women's University to perform with the National Symphony Orchestra at the musical event.
Joining hands with the China Rehabilitation Research Center for Deaf Children, the choir performed a chorus and poetry recitation named "Can You Hear Me?" with the help of two hearing-impaired children. Their well-praised performance expressed the children's considerable yearning and enthusiasm for life, and struck a chord in many of the audiences' hearts.
On the theme of "Children's Hearing Health", the concert was co-sponsored by China Disabled Persons' Federation, the Ministry of Education, the All-China Women's Federation, and 12 other official departments.
The Red Sail Choir continuously follow the principle of "Giving, Comprehending, and Inheritance". It has transmitted compassion through music, and its members have won first prize five times in international competitions so far.
