CWU Holds 6th Orienteering Contest
On March 8, the Armed Forces Department and Sports Department of China Women's University (CWU) co-sponsored an orienteering competition on the campus.
Some 100 students from 10 departments participated in the event. According to a map marked with several specific points and lines of direction, participants made full use of their geography knowledge and physical advantages to finish the game.
At the same time, there was another vibrant competition for teaching staff. Secretaries from different Party branches, counselors, and teachers attended the activity, and enjoyed the physical challenge.
After intense competition, 92 students and 49 teachers finished and clocked in at 13 different points. Wang Yan, Zhuang Yuqi, Gong Yuchang, and another seven students made the top 10 fastest. The Higher Vocational College, Social Work Department, and the Law School got the top three group awards. Zeng Xiangfu and other 7 teachers won the prizes for teachers.
