Guangdong Women's Polytechnic College Visits CWU
Zhou Youying, Party secretary of the Guangdong Women's Polytechnic College (GWPC) visited China Women's University (CWU) on May 12, accompanied with four other teachers. CWU president Liu Liqun and vice-president Liu Meng received the visitors, and held a seminar.
Liu Meng warmly welcomed the visitors, introduced CWU's research on women's education, the construction of the specialist library on Chinese women, and scientific research activities and achievements of CWU in promoting gender equality and the development of women and children. Zhou hoped that the two sides could continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in women's education and research, and, jointly work out new approaches to developing female talent cultivation.
The delegation visited the specialist library on Chinese women, and showed a keen interest in CWU's project of women's oral history.
GWPC is a public women's vocational school, which is a member of the Women's Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Women's Research Society.
Directors from CWU's Scientific Research Management Center, Law School, and Women's Studies Faculty attended the event.
