CWU Plans to Repair Downtown Campus

Lv Dan, deputy director of the Culture Commission in Beijing's Xicheng District; Yao Huarong, director of the Xicheng Institute of Cultural Heritage (XICH); and, the XICH office director Shi Kefei visited the downtown campus of China Women's University (CWU) on April 27.

Feng Lanfeng, deputy director of the CWU State-Owned Assets Management Office and director of the Jixian Property Management Center, and CWU administrative staff, received the visitors. Feng introduced the basic situation of CWU's downtown campus, and laid out the specific refurbishment plan.

Lv introduced the policies, directions, and attitudes of Beijing Municipal Government, and Xicheng District People's Government of Beijing Municipality towards cultural relics protection. Lv highly praised CWU's historical relics preserving awareness, and put forward some opinions towards the repair work.

All the participants also exchanged their thoughts on how to protect and carry forward Chinese traditional culture.
