Delegates from Int'l Seminar on Girl's and Women's Education Visit CWU
Some 20 delegates from the International Seminar on Girl's and Women's Education visited China Women's University (CWU) on June 7. CWU president Liu Liqun received the delegates, and presided over a symposium.
Directors from the CWU's Teaching Affairs Office, Recruitment and Employment Office, International Cooperation Department, and the Institute of International Education attended the event.
CWU vice-president Liu Meng warmly welcomed the visitors, and introduced the university's development history, school-running characteristics, its achievements in talent cultivation, discipline construction, and social service, and, its special contribution in promoting preschool education, women's higher education, and the development of women and children.
The two sides communicated and discussed several issues, including CWU graduates' career development, CWU's admissions policy, higher vocational education, and undergraduate education.
