HK Youth Think Tank Visits CWU
A female delegation from the Hong Kong New Youth Energy Think Tank (HKNYTT) visited China Women's University (CWU) on May 24. CWU vice-president Liu Meng warmly received the visitors, and held a seminar.
The director from the CWU's Continuing Education School, and, student representatives from different schools and departments, participated in the event, which was arranged by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF).
Liu introduced CWU's development history, mission, and school-running feature, and laid out CWU's achievements in talent cultivation, discipline construction, and social services, especially its contribution in promoting gender equality and the development of women and children.
Yang Zhihong, executive director of the HKNYTT; and Sun Yanhua, president of the HKNYTT, respectively delivered speeches, and introduced the think tank's history and achievements in promoting youth communication between HK and mainland China.
The visitors communicated with students on career planning, social practice, academic advantage, and talent cultivation features.
