CWU Holds Seminar on Party Building Studies

China Women's University (CWU) held a seminar on Party building on June 6, focused on the theoretical and practical issues of such activities.

Party branch secretaries from departments directly affiliated, and secretaries of the General Party Branches from different schools, participated in the event, and respectively reported on their work for the latest education campaign.

Li Mingshun, chairperson of the CWU Council, attended the meeting and listened carefully to the reports. Li fully affirmed CWU's achievements in talent cultivation and social practices. 

Keeping in mind Chinese President Xi Jinping's important instructions on Party building, Li urged participants to enhance the "consciousnesses of the ideology, the whole, the core and the line", resolve prominent problems, build a clean and honest Party, establish a style of study, strengthen teachers and students senses of cohesion, and build the CWU into a top university.

Li also asked participants to pay attention to the following points: firstly, the secretaries should strictly regulate the Party members and correct their shortcomings. Secondly, officials should expand intra-Party education from "a few key" members to others in the Party more broadly. Thirdly, supervising Party members should be self-disciplined in their daily lives. Fourthly, attendees should combine Party building studies with CWU's reform, promoting development. 

Zhang Xiangcun, director of the CWU's Publicity Department, presided over the meeting, and answered questions specifically during the discussion.
