CWU North Campus Holds Closing Ceremony for Community Cultural Festival

The North Campus of China Women's University (CWU) held a closing ceremony for its 8th Community Cultural Festival on June 14. All teachers and students from the North Campus, as well as the Party branch secretary and all Party members from Haijingluo village in Beijing, participated in the event.

Based the theme "10-Year Development, Dreams Set Sail", the ceremony aimed to teach its 2015 freshmen about the phase of adaptability education, and highlight the development of the university community. In the past 10 years, the North Campus has gradually improved the situation for community development, and created a helpful platform for students' social practice, said officials.

At the ceremony, the organizers reviewed the achievements of the North Campus in 2015, and, highly affirmed students' enthusiasm and perseverance in sports, social responsibility and self-worth accomplishment in public undertakings.

Different communities performed a variety of shows at the ceremony, expressing their common aspiration of gratitude. The organizers commended the outstanding individuals and units, and affirmed their great efforts and excellent performances. 

At the end of the event, all students swore to maintain honesty in the final exam, live up to teachers' expectation, and do their best to pass the exam with excellent grades.

The dean of the North Campus hoped that the students could embrace the new environment and fully immerse into the main campus as soon as possible.
