Delegates of Chongqing Women's Family Visit CWU
Chen Hanmei, executive deputy director of Chongqing Women's Family (CWF), led some 4 teachers to visit China Women's University (CWU) on June 23. CWU vice-president Wang Jiangxia warmly received the delegation, and hosted a seminar.
Teachers from the Continuing Education School, and the Administrative Office also participated in the event.
Wang introduced CWU's history, mission, academic characteristics, and its efforts in promoting the development of women civil servants. Director of the Continuing Education School outlined the basic situation of CWU's current institutions and teaching staff.
Chen introduced CWF's sectors, members, and scope of work, and, hoped that the two sides could further strengthen cooperation in women's training.
The participants also exchanged opinions towards the teaching mode, curriculum, and ways to complete their courses. Afterward, the delegates visited the women cadre's training class, the foreign aid class, canteen, and the Women and Gender Library.
The CWF is a center for women's training and activity directly affiliated with Chongqing Women's Federation.
