CWU North Campus Takes Return Movement
Some 1,120 students moved their residence from the north campus of China Women's University (CWU) to the main campus on July 9. Li Mingshun, Chairperson of the CWU Council, and, president Liu Liqun guided the move.
CWU vice-president Song Shengju directed the movers on site. Members from the Student Affairs Office, the Logistic Management Office, and the Security Department, and part of teachers and students participated in the event.
Under the arrangement, some 36 buses carrying all the students and nearly 5,000 pieces of luggage arrived at the main campus. Li and Liu waved to the students at the school gate, and welcomed them.
In close contact with the north campus, all the staff worked together to ensure the safety and efficiency of the movement. With the joint effort of the participants, the event was finished in half a day.
The organizers hoped that the students could uphold the motto of Virtus, Caritas, Scientia and Cultura, adapt to a new life on the main campus, gain genuine knowledge, and realize their dreams.
