Shen Yueyue, president of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), paid a visit to China Women's University (CWU) on September 8, extending her greetings and best wishes to all teachers on the 32nd National Teachers' Day.
During her inspection tour, Shen visited several departments of the university, inquiring about the teachers' life and work conditions as well as the students' employment status.
After listening to feedback, Shen affirmed the university's current achievements and hoped it would further implement the Party's educational guidelines while strengthening the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Moreover, the president also stated that the university should set courses in a scientific manner, constantly improve the quality of teaching, and strive to cultivate more highly-qualified women in the future.
A seminar was also held at CWU the same day. Shen listened carefully to the university's senior staff and teachers' suggestions on how to enhance the leadership ability of the federation.
At the seminar, Shen noted that women's federations across the country should study closely and implement President Xi Jiping's recent remarks, especially in respect of reform and innovation.
Shen advocated female officials of the federation to study and maintain the Party's spirit, and suggested that close relationships should be built between them and the public to serve the country and the women with all their hearts. In addition, the federation should make efforts to lead women to follow the path the Party and contribute themselves to realizing the "Chinese Dream" of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
