 September 10, 2016

A delegation from Kyushu Women's University (KWU) visited China Women's University (CWU) on September 6. CWU president Liu Liqun received the delegates, and attended a seminar on international exchange, which was presided over by Ye Shuiping, director of the CWU's International Cooperation Department.

Sun Xiaomei, professor from the CWU's Women Studies Faculty, and some 40 students from different schools and departments attended the event.

Liu reviewed the history of educational cooperation and achievements that the two sides have made since 2003. She said CWU attaches great importance to relations with KWU and is ready to push forward bilateral cooperation to a new high.

Liu hoped that the two sides could further consolidate a foundation of cooperation and expand cooperative areas so as to cultivate all-round female talents.

CWU vice-president Wang Lian communicated with KWU's professors, and discussed how to develop research projects and international exchange programs.

The director of the KWU's Enrollment Department fully affirmed CWU students' professional skills and encouraged them to study hard, seize opportunities and choose the right path in life.

KWU's professor Fang Ruwei showed a short film delivering a message on the basic situation, curriculum, course design and natural environment of KWU. Fang also invited several exchange students to share their experiences in Japan. When the film ended, Fang responded to students' questions on tuition, accommodation and how to choose a good major.

CWU has established relationships with many overseas academic institutions in recent years. It previously signed a cooperative protocol with KWU in 2003, and had sent over 100 exchange students in these years.
