CWU Starts 2016 Freshman Registration
China Women's University (CWU) ushered in a new batch of students on September 4. In total, some 1655 freshmen entered the enrollment hall to become new students with admission notices in their hands.
The slogan "Warmly Welcoming New Students" was pasted onto the school gate, and grabbed newcomers' attention. Uniformed volunteers warmly guided the new students whilst the Student Affairs Office opened a "green path" and a consultation service center for the freshmen.
The Security Department, Finance Department, Logistics Department, and Student Enrollment and Employment Office jointly set up an admission support center. All the teachers handled the students' affairs effectively and answered questions with patience. All the new students finished their registration independently, paid their tuition fees, and sorted out their account migration and other formalities.
Chairperson of the CWU Council Li Mingshun, CWU President Liu Liqun, as well as vice-president Liu Meng came to the hall to oversee the enrollment work, and had cordial talks with the freshmen.
The organizers arranged over 50 free shuttles to different branch campuses, set up special rest areas for students and parents, and provided “Love Packages” for poverty-stricken students.
The school leaders also checked the North Campus, Fangshan Campus, and Songzhu apartment block respectively, to ensure the freshmen's accommodation environment and occupancy was optimum.
The new students have brought fresh energy and blood to CWU, and thus they will begin their wonderful university lives. All CWU members wish the new students a brilliant future at the institution.
