CWU Holds Activity on Party Building

 September 14, 2016

China Women's University (CWU) held a symposium recently on Party building at the Beijing Patriotism Education Base. Li Mingshun, Chairperson of the CWU Council, participated in the event.

The seminar aims to push forward the education campaign, consolidate Party members' Marxist positions, and ensure that Party members maintain a high degree of ideological and political consistency with the CPC Central Committee.

The participants visited the memorial hall of the first Party branch of the CPC, the former site of the Party branch, and the former residence of Cui Xianfang, the first Party member in the western mountain area of Beijing. Cui had founded the first Party branch in western Beijing's Tianzhuang village, developing revolutionary education, publicizing the Party's views, and fostering the backbone of the revolution.

In the central auditorium, the Party members watched an educational film, which reviewed the emergence, foundation, and development process of the CPC organizations.

The attendees said they would carry forward the glorious traditions of the CPC, adhere to the right political direction, and be self-disciplined in their daily lives.

All the secretaries from different general Party branches, members of the CWU Committee for Discipline Inspection, and directors from different Party branches attended the event.

The school leaders also checked the North Campus, Fangshan Campus, and Songzhu apartment block respectively, to ensure the freshmen's accommodation environment and occupancy was optimum.

The new students have brought fresh energy and blood to CWU, and thus they will begin their wonderful university lives. All CWU members wish the new students a brilliant future at the institution.
