CWU Holds Symposium for Minority Students
China Women's University (CWU) held a symposium recently for students from minority groups in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The event, which was presided over by assistant director of the CWU's Student Affairs Office, aims to understand and further evaluate the overall situation of the minority students, strengthen oversight of them and improve students' all-round skills.
During the conversation, those students in attendance sincerely thanked teachers and shared their opinions on campus life and study, as well as putting forward several suggestions on the limited variety of dishes in the canteen serving Halal food.
Teachers from the Student Affairs Office listened carefully to the students' opinions and promised to feed the issues back to the functional departments. They hoped that students could study hard and enjoy their campus lives.
The students said that they would strictly observe campus regulations, strive to improve their professional skills and contribute to the construction of the motherland and their hometowns.
