UNA Thanks CWU for Hosting 6th Int'l Civil Servants Capacity Building Program
The China branch of the UN Association (UNA) sent a thank-you note recently to China Women's University (CWU) for its contributions to the 6th International Civil Servants Capacity Building Training Program.
The training session was co-organized by the UNA, the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the PRC, as well as the CWU.
The training course aimed to enhance women's involvement in international organizations, build female civil servants' capacity and promote gender equality and women's development across the world.
The letter said that the CWU has taken the lead role in popularizing the social gender mainstream, reforming the concept of women's empowerment and designing the curriculum with its academic advantages.
The university's considerate services, well-designed training course and elaborate activities impressed and were highly appreciated by all the trainees, officials, guests and teaching staff, as the letter mentioned.
The UNA officials also said that through the joint efforts by all sponsors, the event has got off to a good start and won gratifying achievements. In addition, the UNA is willing to cooperate with the CWU and contribute to cultivating more international talents and female leaders in the future.
