China Women's University (CWU) held its seventh Marxist Youth Project training course on September 24 at the institution's No.6 meeting room.

Han Yan, director of the Student Affairs Office and Secretary of the CWU Youth League Committee, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Attendees also included secretaries of the Youth League General Branches from different departments and schools, and all trainees.

The event aimed to consolidate students' theoretical knowledge and service abilities, improve their ideological and political faculty and practical abilities, boost construction of the Communist Youth League (CYL) and promote the work progress of CYL.

While fully affirming the achievements of previous training courses, Han highlighted the importance of the spirits of CPC Central Committee's and State Council's opinion on further strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of college students.

CWU carefully designed the curriculum according to trainees' growth needs and position requirements. Han hoped that the trainees could further enhance the quality of their professional skills, improve their work ability, strengthen solidarity and collaboration, enhance service awareness, and lead other students to realize the "Chinese Dream" and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

During four days of training, Li Li, vice-minister of Beijing Municipal Volunteer Service Federation; Jiang Yixin, director of the Luxun Research Center at Beijing Luxun Museum; La Haozhao, president of the Student Union of the Beijing University of Technology; as well as Chen Yongli, secretary of the Youth League Committee of Peking University gave lectures.

On the subjects of how to be a qualified student official, how to write better documents, video editing and communication skills, the teachers carried out quality training, computer practice sessions, and group discussions.

During the sessions, trainees observed discipline, obeyed the arrangements, listened carefully and communicated thoughtfully with each other. Student cadres' comprehensive quality and work abilities were efficiently improved through the combination of education, training and practice, said organizers.

At the graduation ceremony, Han and other secretaries awarded attendees with course completion certificates and took group photos.
