CWU Leaders Inspect Students' Dorms
Accompanied by the secretaries of the general Party branches and counselors from different schools and departments, directors from the Student Affairs Office, the Logistics Management Office and the Postgraduate Department inspected several dormitory buildings of China Women's University (CWU).
The inspection aimed to improve students' awareness of electricity safety, develop their good living habits and create safe and harmonious surroundings.
The inspectors carefully examined students' apartments, publicized fire safety and prevention and security knowledge, and communicated with students about their daily needs.
The leaders fully affirmed some students' security awareness and said that the university will spare no effort to ensure students' personal safety and safety of their property.
Touching on the shortcomings, the leaders emphasized that extra care should be taken when smoking in the dorms and all lights and appliances like TVs and computers must be switched off when leaving the room.
In addition, some rooms were cluttered, several fire control passageways were blocked and some schedules and management regulations hadn't been pasted in the right place.
The school leaders hoped that each student apartment could be provided with a full-time life instructor who will organize health checkups and appraisals and provide excellent management services to students. So in such an atmosphere, the students feel affectionately cared for.
