Li Mingshun Conveys President Xi's Remarks at 6th CPC Plenary Session
The Party Committee central group of China Women's University (CWU) held a symposium on October 31. Li Mingshun, chairperson of the CWU Council, conveyed the latest ideas put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping in his keynote speeches made at the recent 6th plenary session of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
Attendees fully studied the contents of a communiqué issued on October 27 after the 6th CPC Plenary Session and arranged the following work catering for the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF).
Li talked about his understanding of President Xi Jinping's keynote speeches and highlighted two documents on discipline as approved by senior Party leaders at the session, including specifications on the "norms of political life within the Party under the new situation," and a regulation on "intra-Party supervision."
"The two Party disciplines issued at the 6th plenary session stressed strict Party governance, marking another milestone in CPC's history. This milestone has occurred with historic timing to coincide with events celebrating the 95th founding anniversary of the CPC and the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March." pointed out Li.
Party members at all levels should act consistently to follow the leadership of the CPC Central Committee and fully study the keynote speeches given at the 6th plenary session as a "primary political task", urged Song.
The 6th Plenary Session identified President Xi's core status and formally put forward the concept of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core. All Party members should closely unite around the CPC Central Committee, fully study Xi's speeches and implement the disciplinary regulations issued at the latest session, Li added.
To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 6th Plenary Session, Li issued three key points at the conference.
Party members are urged to strengthen and regulate intra-Party political life, firmly follow what the CPC Central Committee advocates, implement what the CPC Central Committee decides and build a clean and righteous political and academic environment.
Moreover, all participants should fulfill their responsibilities in extending CPC governance to teaching practice and providing strong support to educational reform. They should also combine the spirit of the session with the requirements of the ACWF, and make efforts to build the CWU as a top-level women's university worldwide.
