CWU Establishes Youth League Branch
The Youth League Committee of China Women's University (CWU) organized a meeting for the newly established Youth League Branch on November 2. Part of CWU's faculty members participated in the gathering, which was presided over by Chen Lijun, deputy director of CWU's Student Affairs Office.
Chen read out the university's decisions on the establishment of the Youth League Branch. Those in attendance took an oath in front of the Youth League flag. At the first plenary session of the Youth League Branch, the Youth League Committee elected a new general-secretary and committee members.
Chen congratulated the new members, stressed the importance of the establishment of the branch and arranged its following work.
Chen expressed her hope that the branch could lead the young faculty members to devote themselves wholeheartedly to the cause of education, give full play to the model role of the Communist Youth League, further promote mutual communication and exchange among young teachers and make efforts to enrich teachers' spare time.
