CWU Holds Seminar on Evaluation Work
The Quality Supervision Office of China Women's University (CWU) held a symposium on evaluation work on November 4. Leaders from different project teams and directors from relevant departments attended the meeting, which was presided over by CWU Vice-President Wang Lian.
Each group leader introduced the status of their evaluation work and auditing reports, and pointed out difficulties in the implementation process.
All those in attendance shared their opinions on the evaluation work and highlighted the importance of teaching assessment in promoting the development of the university.
Wang expressed her opinion that relevant departments should correctly handle the relationship between self-defined standards and unified standards, keep a moderate margin to face upcoming challenges and maintain the continuity of preparation before and reform after inspection.
Focused on the university's preparation and implementation details, Wang analyzed the similarities and differences between this year's evaluation criteria and previous years. Also, Wang outlined the form of examination, the methods to complete the summary report and self-assessment report on undergraduate education, and methods to concisely sum up the characteristics of universities.
The seminar clarified the group leaders' thoughts, formed the objectives, and laid a solid foundation for evaluation work ahead, organizers said.
