CWU Holds 22nd Talk in 'A Date with a President' Series

 December 12, 2016

China Women's University (CWU) held its 22nd event in the series of talks titled "Listening to Your Heart, Talking about Growth: A Date with a President" at its No.3 meeting room on December 1.

CWU Vice-President Liu Meng participated in the event, leading a conversation with 10 students from different schools and departments.

During the event, combined with her own academic experiences, Wang patiently answered students' questions on postgraduate education, overseas-study programs, college students' enterprises, employment and other hot issues.

Liu carefully listened to students' opinions on campus construction, curriculum arrangement and infrastructure maintenance. Based on the university's actual situation, Liu promised to communicate with relative functional departments, and meet teachers' and students' demands as far as possible.

Wang fully affirmed students' active attitudes towards the university's activities and their sense of ownership, and praised their creative ideas on their own career plans and the university's construction. She hoped that students could set clear goals and strive to achieve them when they decide to become postgraduate students or find jobs.

The series of talks is held on the fourth Tuesday afternoon of every month, and offers a platform for CWU leaders and students to communicate face-to-face. It not only creates a supportive academic and life atmosphere, but also enhances communication between the university and students, say organizers.
