CWU Holds Its 2016 Scholarship Awards Ceremony

China Women's University (CWU) held its annual awards ceremony for scholarship and grant-aided students on December 5. On behalf of the organizers of the Fengling and Fengyiren grants scheme, Feng Cui and Qiu Guangxin attended the event.

Li Mingshun, chairperson of the CWU Council, CWU President Liu Liqun, Vice-Presidents Liu Meng and Wang Lian, directors from different functional departments, as well as counselors and winners from different schools and departments attended the event, which was presided over by Vice-President Wang Jingxia.

Liu Meng and Wang Lian read out the list of scholarships and grants. In addition, related leaders and officials presented awards for the winners. Xu Wei and Li Siwei, representatives from Guozhen and Huiru donor agencies, encouraged students to study hard and to be contributing members of society.

On behalf of the university, Li Mingshun sincerely thanked the donors, expressed his gratitude to teachers and congratulated all the recipients of the funding. He encouraged students to pursue self-cultivation, contribute to the development of society and live a meaningful life.

Meanwhile, organizers broadcast video scroll of the advanced units and individuals and arranged a group photo for the event to mark the memorable ceremony. The school leaders hoped students could actively shoulder their social responsibility, consolidate their professional knowledge and better serve society.
