CWU Delegates Visit BNU
A delegation from China Women's University (CWU) visited Beijing Normal University (BNU) recently in order to study and learn more about the institution's experience in archives management.
Yang Guiming, director of BNU's Archive Center, warmly welcomed the delegation and presided over a seminar.
Yang briefly introduced BNU's history, management characteristics, the basic status of its talent cultivation, as well as their experiences in compiling and managing the archives.
In accordance with their own experiences, relevant participants outlined BNU's work in arranging different kinds of profiles, including personnel files, documentary archives and teaching portfolios.
The two sides further discussed the institutional construction, quality guarantee system of teaching, school-running orientation, teaching archives administration and information construction.
The BNU's advanced school philosophy, distinguished characteristics, outstanding school-running achievements and modernized archives management theory deeply impressed the visitors. CWU would learn from the BNU's successful experience, strive to promote evaluation work, and improve the crew's consciousness of archives administration, said staff.
The delegation included a deputy director of CWU's Administrative Office and some 30 teachers from 24 schools and departments.
