Under the market economy circumstances, the university should also voluntarily participate in the nation's development reforms, serve the development of Chinese women, diplomacy and economy, and contribute to promoting gender equality and building a moderately prosperous society, organizers said.

Attendees at the meeting also reviewed and approved the work report of CWU's Discipline Inspection Committee. Organizers emphasized that Party construction should strictly follow the principle of seeking truth.

Party members at all levels should act consistently to follow the leadership of the CPC Central Committee; summarize their advanced experiences in strictly running the Party; adhere to the correct political direction; and, consolidate their Marxist positions.
