CWU Recruits Volunteers for Summit on Belt and Road Initiatives
China Women's University (CWU) launched a campaign recently to recruit 50-70 volunteers for an international cooperation summit on China's Belt and Road Initiatives.
Some 200 students from different departments and schools participated in the activity. The organizers interviewed attendees in two different testing rooms, checked their political and ideological ideas, language and spoken English skills and observed participants' appearance and manners.
As one of 27 higher institutes responsible for the coming summit, the university set up a working panel of school leaders catering for the demands of the Beijing Municipal Communist Youth League.
The summit is one of the most important diplomatic activities in China and will be held on May 14-15 in Beijing. It's also the latest political mission of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, followed by the Beijing Olympic Games, the commemoration marking the 60th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting.
