CWU Volunteers Serve the Belt and Road Forum

The "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Forum was held on May 14 at the National Convention Centre, which attracted the world's attention. CWU volunteers were honored to participate in the event.

During the meeting, volunteers held fast to their own positions, patiently answered guests' questions and demonstrated their best outlooks.

CWU President Liu Liqun, who is also the executive member and deputy secretary general of the Chinese Women's Research Society (CWRS), and the president of China Women's Universities Consortium, was invited to attended the meeting.

During the break, Liu visited the volunteers and expressed her sincere encouragement to the volunteers on duty. Liu communicated with the volunteers and further learned about their work, diets and sleep schedule.

Liu fully affirmed that the volunteers were hard working and dedicated. She pointed out that volunteers not only represent CWU but also the nation. Each volunteer is the representative of her country, so that they should keep in mind their own mission, hold fast to their own positions and strive to show the positive image of Chinese youth. 

Liu expressed her hope that the students could cherish their precious volunteer work, continue to carry forward a hardworking and dedicated spirit.
