Li analyzed the basic skills of teaching from five aspects of university teachers, scholars, performers, doctors and practitioners. According to his theory of "six degrees", that is, difficulty, depth, breadth, height, intensity and temperature, Li shared his teaching experiences and analyzed the concrete steps of undergraduate education. His infectious performance and professional comments impressed all the participants.

During the ceremony, those leaders in attendance presented awards to the young teachers. The judges recommended one of the winners, Lu Ping, to participate in the upcoming Beijing Municipal Competition for Young Teachers on behalf of the university.

Liu Liqun congratulated the success of the event and sincerely thanked all the faculties, contestants, judges, co-sponsors, experts and scholars for their collaboration and efforts.

Liu emphasized that CWU has build such a platform to continuously promote young teachers' teaching quality, improve teaching methods and build up the ranks of teachers.

Focused on how to take the opportunity of the evaluation work of undergraduate education and comprehensively improve CWU's teaching quality, Liu said classroom teaching is one of the most important parts of undergraduate education.

The mission and responsibility of higher education is talent cultivation. As a common undergraduate university, classroom teaching is one of our most basic and most important educational positions. CWU is about to see the key link of the evaluation work, Liu said.

All the teachers should fully demonstrate the beauty of languages, sports and logic, as well as, actively lead students to innovate and explore unknown areas. Higher education is a key factor in a country's development potential, it is urgent for universities to improve the quality of their higher education, Liu added.

As higher education shoulders the major responsibility of cultivating successors for the socialist cause, it must adhere to correct political orientation. All the teachers should take the responsibility of leading advanced gender culture, strengthening students' knowledge of common sense and enhance the construction of ideological and political education, organizers said.

Hailing the contributions made by college staff involved in undergraduate education, Liu called for more efforts to foster qualified teachers, cultivate first-class talent and build CWU as a first tier women's university.
