CWU Holds Conference of the Third-Party Investigation and Assessment on the Quality of Talented Personnel Cultivation
China Women's University (CWU) recently held a conference of the third-party investigation and assessment on the quality of talented personnel cultivation, with a view to improving the teaching system in the stage of undergraduate education and ensuring the quality of personnel cultivation.
Zhou Lingbo, vice-president of MyCOS, a company providing data survey and analytic consulting services for institutions of higher education across the country, was invited to give a speech on the CWU Teaching Assessment Analysis Report.
Aimed at the quality of the CWU talented personnel cultivation, Zhou interpreted a series of reports related to short-term evaluation of this year's graduates, mid-term evaluation of graduates, growth evaluation of students at school and the evaluation of teachers' development. He pinpointed the existing problems of CWU’s orientation, cultivation objective, core position of teachings, curriculum resources, student guidance and services, as well as employment and development.
Li Mingshun, chairperson of the CWU Council, said at the conference that the MyCOS report comprehensively displays the achievements and problems existing in the process of school personnel cultivation, providing an important reference for the further evaluation and construction of the CWU.
Li also proposed four requirements to better implement the relevant work, which include:
- To carry out the CWU's evaluation and construction work with confidence.
- To solve the problem once it’s identified.
- To perform the task immediately.
- To implement reforms through a combination of the evaluation report and assessment requirement, with a view to improving the quality of personnel cultivation and pushing forward the evaluation work.
Liu Qinghua, vice-chairperson of the CWU Council and Wang Jingxia, vice-president of the CWU, as well as directors from the school office, personnel division, recruitment and employment office and other departments also attended the conference.
