CWU Aerobics Team Shines at 38th Beijing Artistic Gymnastics Championship

The 38th Aerobics and Gymnastics Championship for college students in Beijing was held at the Beijing Institute of Technology from June 10-11.

The event was co-sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Federation of University Sports of Beijing and Beijing Students Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics and Aerobics.

Some 119 sports teams from 43 higher institutes participated in the competition, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China and Beijing Sport University. The aerobics team of China Women's University (CWU) attended the optional aerobic dance and fit aerobics, and got a first prize and a fourth prize.

CWU aerobic team couldn't make such achievements without the support of school leaders and leaders from the Sports Department. The team players will train harder, maintain their edge and perform even better, the team leaders said.
