It is the largest dance contest for college students in Beijing with the most participants from more than 100 higher institutes. CWU students took part in the ordinary group without art specialty and competed against students from Beijing Foreign Studies University, Central University of Finance and Economics, North China Electric Power University, North China University of Technology and some 30 other universities.

CWU's Communist Youth League Committee has been preparing for the competition since they were informed in March. The organizers solicited works extensively, trained the actors scientifically, elaborated the costumes and props, carefully decorated the stage and designed the lights.

To realize their dream to become artists, students practiced hard and made the most of their enthusiasm on the stage.

Participating in such activities is an important way for students' aesthetic education. The contest helps create a healthy campus culture and rich artistic atmosphere, enriches students' cultural life and demonstrates CWU's high artistic level.

Adhering to the aim of "Carrying Forward Traditional Chinese Culture, Promoting the Development of Arts", CWU's Arts Group will continue to seek truth and innovation, provide diversified platforms and training opportunities for students.
